Jeff Re-joins the Field
"It was kind of a weird spot," says Jeff Wicker (Philadelphia, PA) who grabs his re-entry ticket and gets a fresh stack.
Wicker says he ran pocket queens into pocket aces when he 4-bet one-third of his stack from the small blind. "We had a guy opening light and showing down queen-seven, so that opened the door for easy three bets," he says.
"I can't just flat with queens," adds Wicker, who's eventually all in against the person who three-bet with pocket aces.
Wicker's biggest tournament cash came in the 2009 Borgata Summer Poker Open when was runner-up in a six-max for $16,000.
Level 3 (75/150) is winding down as players head towards their first break of the day.
