Champ: 7th Place - Aglialoro

$2,500 + $200 Championship Deep Stack NLH

John Aglialoro (Haddonfield, NJ)
$28,978

John Aglialoro opened for 65k from the cutoff and Michael Marder raised to 155k on the button.  John called.

The flop came 9♠4♣2.

John led out for 200k, leaving himself only 404k behind.  Michael checked out John's remaining chips, then announced he was all-in.  After giving it some thought, John called.

Michael made a "uh-oh" noise, showing K8 (zip, nada).  John was ahead with pocket Jacks.

The the last two peeled off 3 A giving Michael the back-door nut-flush.  "Did I mention how good I've been running in this event?" Michael said.

John Aglialoro was busted in 7th place.

If you've been around poker for a while, you may remember John from the 1994 WSOP Main Event.  He made the final table of that event, finishing 7th.

He's currently the CEO of Cybex Inernational, which is a fitness equipment company.  He also was a producer of the movie "Atlas Shrugged".

At 68 years young,John was the elder statesman of this final table and held his own among the much younger players.
