On a flop of K 7 5 (two spades), James Sloat (Halethorpe, MD) and John Iraj (Garden City, NY) both check.
The turn is a blank and Iraj bets. Sloat raises, Iraj re-raises, Sloat calls.
The river is another blank and does not complete the flush.
Iraj check, Sloat bets 50k, Iraj calls.
Sloat shows a winning set of 7s, while Iraj mucks and says he had a set of 5s.
"I'm luck to still have chips," says Iraj who's left with 30k.
Sloat takes his stack to more than 350k and is one of the big stacks heading to the dinner break.
