Event 4: Gone in 60k

$300 + $40 Big Stack NLH (Re-Entry)

Alex Odessky (Brooklyn, NY) has a positive attitude despite watching his 60k stack evaporate in two hands.

First he ships 40k to Adam Peterson (Gambrills, MD) whose pocket aces hold against pocket 8s.  On the next hand he says, "stick around," as he expects fireworks.

His last 20k are all in on a board of 4♣ 2♣ 10 as he flops a set of 10s against Timothy Little (Cheverly, MD) who's holding A 10♣

Odessky's worst nightmare is realized when the turn, 8♣, and river 5♣, gives Cheverly the nut flush.

"What are you going to do," says Odessky, "play more poker. you have to be in it to win it."

Odessky is friends with Steve "Alphabet Soup" Eyzerovich (Staten Island, NY) and was glad to see him win the Event 3 PLO tournament early this morning.

Odessky is waiting for the 4 pm Survivor Tournament, while Peterson is now one of the bigger stacks in the room with 110k.
