It took him two tries, but Leonardo Palermo (Toms River, NJ) has busted day 1B chip leader Cathy Dever.

First, he was all-in with KQ against her pocket 8s.  He ran her down on the board and doubled up.

Then she was all-in with QJ and ran into his pocket Jacks, which held up.  Cathy was busted.

Nancy Martin has also busted out, which leaves Laura Church as the last woman remaining in this event.
