Event 9: Dinner Break

The remaining 35 players are on dinner break and we expect a lot of action when play resumes. The average stack is 31k (8 big bets), but when play resumes the limits will be 2k/4k.

Frank Alger (Colonial Beach, VA) is the big stack with 94k (25 big bets) and says his opponents have been getting mad at him for his aggressive play.  "I bluffed all the way with only a pair of fours and everybody folded," he says, "I don't know how you can't call with all that money in the pot."

But even the big stack knows he's vulnerable with the blinds and limits so big and that he could lose half of it on one hand.

Should make for an interesting run to the final table as the last nine players cash.
