The flop was K Q 4 rainbow.  Steven checked, Melad bet 18,500, and Steve called.  Turn was a Jack.

Again Steven checked.  Melad bet 42k and Steven called.

River was a 5.  Steven checked.  Melad took his time and bet 112k.  Steven went into the tank....

Meanwhile, on table two:

Jose Gomes (Fresh Meadows, NY) was all-in against Ben Starkweather.  Jose's QJ was dominated by Ben's AQ.

Then the flop came J 9 7 and Jose took the lead with a pair of Jacks.

Turn was an Ace, sending the lead back to Ben.  River was a 3 and Ben took the pot.

Jose will take $5,502 for 27th place.
