Brian Grogan (New York, NY)
$13,668
"I had a big stack at the final table," says Grogan, who ran his stack to 1.8 million, "I would've have like to have won, but anything less than the top three would've been disappointing."
Grogan can't overcome a 7 to 1 heads up deficit and finishes in second place to Franco Bonacci.
On the final hand Grogan's A♣ K♣ doesn't connect against the 7♦ 7♥ of Bonacci who ends up with a straight on the river. "It was the first time I was at risk the entire tournament," says Grogan.
