Wertz's goal of winning a Borgata trophy will have to wait for another tournament after his K J is crushed by the pocket kings of Chris Csik.

"I didn't have to put it in there," says the Event 1 runner-up, "I could've folded some more."

Wertz was crippled earlier in the level when he doubled-up Bob Baesch on a coin flip.  Wertz lost 101k when his A K didn't improve against Baesch's pocket 10, leaving him with 82k.

Wertz, who has four second place Borgata finishes, earns $1,793 for finishing 12th.
