Event 5: 2nd Place - Melkersen

 $600 + $60 No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)

 Mike Melkersen (New Market, VA)
$22,759

 Blinds 10k/20k/3k ante

Melkersen is down to 700k (35 BB) when he's all in against Chris Csik

Csik: A 3♣
Melkersen: A 5♠

Csik flops a three to win the title with a pair of 3s.

"I got frustrated," says Melkersen, who earns the second largest Borgata cash of his career.  "he was hitting everything and I didn't hit anything, but he played great and deserves it."

Melkersen began heads up play with a 6 to 1 chip lead, but Csik chipped away and was never all in and at risk heads up.

"He's very trappy," says Melkersen, "and I'm very aggressive. Those two usually don't work well together.  I should've changed my game and put things on lock down."

Melkersen, who was 4th for $44,000 in the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship Event, is a full time lawyer and says it's "back to the real world," after a weekend of poker.

Mike Melkersen earns $22,759 for his runner-up finish.
