Michael Perlin (Jackson Heights, NY) is out in 13th place after seeing his stack devastated by Morteza Shirazi, who began the day as the chip leader.
First Shirazi doubles through Perlin when he hits a set of 9s against pocket queens. The 300k double-up is the beginning of the end of Perlin's 1.6 million chip stack.
A few hands later Perlin is ahead with AK agaisnt Shirazi's AQ, but Shirazi flops a queen, turns a queen and rivers quads.
Perlin is out in 13th place and earns $3,128.
