$350 + $50 +$100 Black Chip Bounty NLH
Bill Miller (Stratford, CT) said he had been card-dead for 8 hours and had to shove with a "bad hand". He busted out in 18th place ($879).
Victor Paulino (Boston, MA) got his last chips in with AJ, but ran into Myung Jung's AQ. The better hand held up and Victor finished in 17th place ($879).
Mark Doiban (Brooklyn, NY) got all-in on the flop and his pocket Aces were good for a double up via Bob Fogarty (Outer Banks, NC). Bob was left with only 27k.
Mark's son Henry also played this event, but has busted out. I asked Mark if he taught his son how to play and he said "No, my son taught me...and is still teaching me". Looks like Henry is a good teacher.
End of level and time to color up the purple chips.
Play resumed with level 19, blinds 5k/10k and 1k ante.
